Why can't I see the workspace options in the left-hand menu?
The Cause: Your User Role
If you are unable to see menu items such as Workspace Templates, Workspace Agents, or Workspace Knowledge, it is because your account is not set as an Admin for that specific workspace.
For security and organizational purposes, the ability to edit these core settings is restricted to workspace Admins only. Users with other roles can work within the workspace but cannot access these administrative sections.
The Solution: Requesting Admin Access
To resolve this, you will need your permissions to be upgraded.
- Action Required: You must contact a current Admin for the workspace.
- What to Ask: Request that they change your role from 'User' to 'Admin'.
Once they have updated your permissions, you will be able to see and manage all the administrative options in the left-hand menu. If you are unsure who the Admin is, please speak to your team leader or the person who invited you to the workspace.
