Using the Output Template Builder
How to Use the Output Template Builder 🪄
Creating a new template from scratch can be challenging, especially when writing the detailed AI instructions. The Output Template Prompt Builder is a special template designed to do the hard work for you! It helps you generate all the necessary content to build a powerful, custom workspace template quickly and easily.
Think of it as a template that helps you build other templates.
Step 1: Generate Your Template Content
First, you'll use the builder to create the instructions for your new template.
- From your project dashboard, click the + New Output button.
- In the pop-up window, find and select the Output Template Prompt Builder.
Click Create.
A new document will open. In the chat input box at the bottom, tell the Project Assist what kind of template you want to build. Be as simple or as detailed as you like.
- Simple Example:
Help me create a video production brief template.
- Detailed Example:

- Navigate to Workspace Templates in the left-hand sidebar.
- Click the Create Template button.
Give your new template a Template Name (e.g., "Video Production Brief").

Your custom template is now ready to use.
