How do Brand Check Credits work?

When you sign up to Brand Check you get a certain number of Credits and have the option to buy more if needed.

This guide will explain what they are and how they work.

What is a Credit?

A Credit represents a single use of Brand Check. Each time you search for Moments (e.g. the appearance of a logo in your content) across one minute of video, it consumes Credits.

How are Credits consumed?

Credits are consumed by searching for Moments. One Credit allows one search on up to one minute of video, each video consuming a minimum of one Credit.

Here's how we calculate the number of Credits consumed by a given search:

For each video, round its duration up to the nearest whole minute and multiply that by the number of Moments you're searching for. Add up that number for each video to get the number of Credits consumed.

For example, if you're looking for 3 Moments (a logo, a phrase, and some visible text) across 10 assets of 1-minute duration, it would consume 30 Credits.

As a more realistic example, if you're looking for the 3 same things across a 45s video, a 1m30s video, and a 30m video, the first video consumes 3 x 1 = 3 Credits, the second consumes 3 x 2 = 6 Credits, and the third consumes 3 x 30 = 90 Credits, for a total of 99 Credits.

When you signed up for Brand Check, you were allocated a certain number of Credits depending on your plan.

You can see how many credits you have and how many have been used by visiting the Moments page and seeing the tracker in the top right.

How many Credits have I used?

The number of Credits you have used depends on your usage of Brand Check, based on how they're consumed (see above).

How can I buy more Credits?

To buy more credits, speak to your Wooshii Account Manager, who'll be able to advise you on how many you need and whether it's better to upgrade your plan instead.

How do I know how much a run will cost me?

Before any campaign is run on your campaigns, your account manager will confirm the credit usage of that run, before proceeding.
