Whitelabelling: Logo Requirements

Overview

When adding your company logo to Assist as part of whitelabelling, please ensure your logo meets the colour requirements outlined below. Following these guidelines will ensure your logo displays correctly across all interface themes.

Logo Colour Guidelines

Your logo must be clearly visible against both white and black backgrounds. Because Assist supports light and dark display modes, your logo needs to maintain strong contrast and readability in either setting.

Colours to Avoid

  • Black logos — These will be invisible or difficult to see against dark backgrounds.
  • White logos — These will be invisible or difficult to see against light backgrounds.
  • Very dark greys (e.g. #1A1A1A , #222222 ) — These behave similarly to black and lack sufficient contrast on dark backgrounds.
  • Very light greys (e.g. #E0E0E0 , #F5F5F5 ) — These behave similarly to white and lack sufficient contrast on light backgrounds.

Choose a logo that uses a mid-tone or vibrant colour that stands out against both extremes. Good options include:

  • Brand colours in the mid-range of the colour spectrum (blues, greens, reds, oranges, purples, teals, etc.)
  • Logos with sufficient saturation to remain distinct on both light and dark surfaces

Quick Contrast Test

Before uploading your logo, test it by placing it on both a white (#FFFFFF ) and black (#000000 ) background. If it is clearly visible and legible in both cases, it meets the requirement.
