Generating Images in Assist 2.0

This guide will walk you through generating images in Assist 2.0. You will learn how to:

  • Generate images from a text prompt using Just Start Talking.
  • Edit and iterate on your generated images.
  • Use Workspace Knowledge to automatically create on-brand images.

1. Generating Your First Images

In Assist 2.0, you no longer need to manually create an image template before generating images. Just describe what you want and Assist will handle the rest — finding an existing image template if one is available, or creating a new one for you.

  1. Open the workspace you want to work in.
  2. Start a new chat from the main chat interface.
  3. Type your image request in natural language.

Example prompt: Give me four images of a cat.

  4. Press Enter.

Assist will plan the work, set up (or reuse) an image output, and generate the images. They'll appear in the output panel alongside the chat.

2. Editing and Iterating on Images

You can refine your images using follow-up prompts in the same chat.

  • To edit an image: Type a new instruction referring to images by their number.

Example: Let's make cat #1 black and white.

  • View versions: Assist will generate a new version (V2) of that specific image. Click the image in the grid to open a preview and toggle between versions (V1, V2, etc.).
  • Preview: Click any image in the grid to see a larger preview.

3. Creating On-Brand Images with Workspace Knowledge

The most powerful feature of image generation is its ability to automatically use your Workspace Knowledge — brand guidelines, logos, colour palettes, product imagery — to create on-brand visuals.

There's no template cloning step in Assist 2.0. Knowledge is scoped to the workspace you're in, so as long as you're working in a workspace that has brand knowledge loaded, image generation will pick it up automatically.

  1. Switch to the workspace that contains your brand knowledge (e.g. "Ferrero Rocher").
  2. Start a new chat.
  3. Make your request. You don't need to mention the brand.

Example prompt: Please create a Christmas scene with the words "Merry Christmas".

Assist will access the Workspace Knowledge for that workspace and generate images that incorporate your brand's specific colours, style, and product identity.

Tip: If you regularly generate images for a particular brand or use case, Assist will remember and reuse the template it created the first time around — so subsequent requests are faster and more consistent.
