Expected Completion Time
The Expected Completion Time (Hours) field is a key metric used to track the efficiency of your AI-assisted workflows in Assist 2.0. It allows the system to calculate the "Time Saved" by comparing manual effort against AI generation speed.

📝 Field Requirements
- Definition: The amount of time this task would traditionally take a human to complete manually (without AI).
- Format: The entry must be a whole number.
- Constraint: The system will not accept decimals, fractions, or text (e.g., "1.5" or "30 mins" will trigger an error).
💡 How to Estimate
Since the field requires a whole number, use the following logic to round your manual estimates:
| If the manual task takes… | Enter this whole number: |
|---|---|
| Under 1 hour (e.g., 30–45 mins) | 1 |
| Between 1 and 2 hours | 2 |
| A half-day of work | 4 |
| A full day of work | 8 |
🚀 Why Fill This Out?
- Measuring Impact: It provides data for ROI dashboards, showing how many hours of manual labour the template has replaced.
- Workflow Benchmarking: Helps users understand the complexity of the task they are about to automate.
- Efficiency Reporting: Allows administrators to identify which templates are delivering the highest time-savings across the organisation.
